The Unite! Community 7 "Doctoral Education for Research & Innovation and Society" overall aim is the creation of the Unite! Doctoral School (UDS), a framework for joint doctoral education within the Alliance that brings together the expertise of the 9 Partner Universities. It focuses on common training, joint supervision, research collaboration, shared infrastructures, and PhD candidate selection under common funding initiatives. 

The UDS program includes a catalogue of optional doctoral courses selected from doctorate-level courses offered locally by each Unite! partner to share programmes and doctoral education among the partners. These hard and soft skills courses are available exclusively to UDS doctoral students.
